It is your Pastor’s sacerdotal duty to serve Holy Communion when he chooses. The Apostle Paul teaches us in 1 Corinthians 11:25-26, that Jesus said “Do this in remembrance of me.”

“For as often or (whenever) you eat this bread and drink this cup, ye do show or (proclaim) the Lord’s death until he comes.” Eating this bread and drinking of the cup shows that we are remembering Christ’s death for us and renewing our commitment to serve Him.

If the Lord’s Supper becomes just a ritual or a pious habit, it no longer remembers Christ, and it loses its significance.
