Giving financially is a response to God’s boundless grace and generosity. It’s a form of worship acknowledging and expressing that all we have, as individual members of one Body, comes from God.
Giving glorifies and honors his abundant generosity and reflects it back toward him as those made in his image and likeness. Giving also says we aren’t afraid of lacking anything because God is our source and we trust him.
King David, a true worshipper, said this in I Chronicles 29:12-14 “Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all. Now, our God, we give you thanks and praise your glorious name. But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.”
Tithing is not an option or a suggestion. It is a commandment from God.
Tithing is a way to worship God because it shows Him that we trust His provision in our lives. “Tithe” means ten percent, which is the portion of our income that we give to God to say thank you for all He has given us.
God doesn’t need our money, He wants our trust, and trusting Him with our finances is a great way to demonstrate our dependence on Him.
Tithing is God’s way of taking care of Church business.
The first tenth belongs to God. The tithe provides blessings because of obedience and protection from the devourer.
Your tithes go to the STOREHOUSE The place where you get Spiritually fed and equipped by the Word of God

The offering is what you give above the tithe. The amount you give, and the spirit you give it in, determines the level of increase you will enjoy in your life. Giving an offering brings increase to your future based on how you sow today.
The first fruit is the “first of anything that your receive; whether a raise, a bonus, an increase or a new source of income.
Also a commandment from God.
The purpose is to redirect destruction.
