LORD SEND A REVIVAL

Psalm 80:18-19 Living Bible (TLB)

18 and we will never forsake you again. Revive us to trust in you. Turn us again to yourself, O God of the armies of heaven. Look down on us, your face aglow with joy and love—only then shall we be saved.

I don’t know about each of you, but I feel like something is brewing in the atmosphere that is larger than you and I could ever comprehend in the realm of the spirit. I know that God has been repositioning our lives for a great outpour of His presence and I believe that it is going to take place in our homes, in our personal lives, in our relationships, in our businesses, and in our churches.  I can only describe it as the “Spirit of Revival” but not as we have known it traditionally!  God is reviving and restoring us.  It will cause such a shower of miracles in our worship environment that will blow us away.  I think we need to get ready for the supernatural move of God.  I mean the type of Revival when Heaven comes closer to earth.  It is when the Glory of God again becomes visible in the lives of men, women, families, churches, and the community.

The greatest attraction of Heaven is not the streets of gold. It is not the tree of life. It is not the angels and the fellowship with others of the faith. It is the constant Presence and Glory of our Lord. Revival is when we taste something of this constant Presence of God on earth and in our everyday lives. The word revival has a variety of meanings for Christians today. For some, it simply means a series of meetings. Some think of revival as a time when people place their faith in Christ and receive Him as Savior and Lord. Other people have used the term revival to describe a spiritual awakening during which large numbers of people are converted. The real meaning of revival in the Bible is when God’s people realize their need to be spiritually restored and revitalized in their walk with Jesus. It starts at home and then spreads to our churches, communities, cities, and our nation.

The word, revive is made up of two parts: re, meaning “again,” and vive, meaning, “to live.” Thus, revive means “to live again, to come or be brought back to life, health, or vitality.” Revival is a time when spiritual life and vitality are restored (in the heart and lives of Christian people and the Church). We are embarking upon the 8th month of the year, not only is this the month of new beginnings but it is also the month of “Restarting” the month of Regeneration, the number of Covenant, Rebooting, and finding God.

Revival is a return to spiritual health after a period of spiritual decline into sin and broken fellowship with God.  Personal ‘Revival’ occurs when an individual is restored from a broken fellowship with God. ‘Revival’ in the home occurs when family members are restored from a broken fellowship with God, and the Lord Jesus is once again the Head of the home. ‘Revival’ in the local Church, community and nation is a sovereign act of God and occurs when God restores the spiritual health and vitality of His people on a much bigger scale. It is then that you will see the Spiritual hunger restored in the hearts of the people.  My prayer is that this month you will begin to pray and ask God to send the Spirit of Revival to our souls, families, communities and to our churches.  Get ready for the “Fire of Revival!”

THE FIGHT FOR THE MAN

God’s Blueprint for Power, Purpose, and Priesthood in the Family

This year is flying by and we are coming into a strong month, the turning of a new season, and we are also preparing to celebrate Father’s Day. In seeking God about the impartation for June, I thought it would be befitting if I focused on all men and not just fathers. I believe it’s time to get the father back into the home! Men, manhood, and what it means to be a man are under attack by all kinds of radical societal beliefs, gender perspectives, boyhood struggles, and identity crises crisis. It would appear that we are losing a generation of powerful leaders unless we speak up and decree that Satan will not rule on the territory of who we are as men. Many voices in society say that men are obsolete and not needed anymore. They are doing their best to dismantle God’s design and definition of manhood. The man is the key to biblical infrastructure in families, communities, and ultimately, the nations. You have heard it said, “As it goes with the family, so goes it with the world.” It’s time to kick the politically correct cult out of the home and put the father back into the family. If we are going to see our families rooted again, the strength of the man must re-emerge, and he must also increase in his impact.

MAN WAS GOD’S IDEA

Men, I want you to understand that you were never an afterthought in the mind of God. Creating humankind beginning with the male was God’s idea. Man was created in the image of God and given spiritual authority to govern the Earth. In moments when you feel like a failure, remember: God chose you first!

WHEN ADAM WAS KING

You must believe that your Father trusts you with delegated authority. Ask Him to build your confidence and to remove fears of any uncompleted tasks or over-compensating promises. God created you just as he created Adam: as a king who would work and manage a kingdom. To understand work fully, you need to understand the first great commission of dominion. Kingship is a powerful truth that reveals the mandate and delegated the ability to govern.

ADAM THE SPIRIT MAN

God loves a man who enjoys worship and spends time with Him. In the garden of Eden, God fellowshipped with Adam spirit to spirit. This is an exciting truth because God first created an environment – an atmosphere – for the man to dwell in. In this atmosphere, the man could fellowship and communicate with God anytime he wanted to. As a Spirit-led man, Adam was assigned the task of tending the garden, but every day he had time with God. To ascertain your blueprint to purpose, you must have consistent one-on-one time with God.

MALFUNCTIONING RELATIONSHIPS

When men and women don’t understand how they are different from one another, their relationships malfunction. As their lives begin to fail, their children’s lives, as well as the entire family unit, are affected. The effects of malfunctioning relationships can manifest in many ways including divorce, family division, hostility between family members, scattering of family members, incarcerated children, and relational indifferences. Most men manage well emotionally until things fall apart, and then we tend to go into “shut down mode”. At the times when our emotions malfunction, we can always retreat to a safe place in the presence of God, receive counsel, and find solace in His Word.

I pray that you will ask God to reveal your Blueprint, activate your Power, dominate your Purpose and teach you how to protect your family as a man. Amen.

Woman… You Are Enough
Psalm 139:14 (ESV)
“I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.”
Four vital key points I believe every woman MUST know:
> You have to WIN!
> When life hits you, stay anchored!
> Never allow your temporary emotions to blindside your future!
> You must always know that you are ENOUGH!
I want to use these four components to move you from delay to destiny. I believe your purpose is found in your own desire to live with meaning, passion and authenticity. In my years of pastoring and observing women, I have seen the importance of having the “right” male in your life. For example, when you are transitioning from being married to being single, by choice or by force, the covering of a pastor or mentor in the midst of a very painful place can protect you from making devastating choices that could derail your journey. It may be difficult for you to trust a male figure if one has disappointed you. This is why you need the true heart of a Father, Leader, or Brother who will not manipulate, control, or damage any vulnerable moments in your life.
Being anchored can be difficult because as women, the first place that becomes disturbed and touched is your emotions; which causes you to break or press. Emotions can be a blessing and create chaos simultaneously, so you need a connection you respect who can provide critical advice when your soul is in sorrow. Also, it is important to stay consistent even when you are fighting disparities: you cannot allow your circumstances to determine or hinder your productivity. There is no escaping the challenges of life, but your response to them will influence your effectiveness in the Kingdom and in your personal life.
Women, this month I want you to take a good look in the mirror and focus on YOU! You need someone with no hidden agendas or ulterior motives, who will be able to assist you with wisdom from the heart of God. You need a voice of wisdom to bring you from your broken place to your blessed place, through prayer and the Word of God. Wisdom will allow you to see that God’s purpose is for you to WIN. Jesus was and still is a Lover of Women. You are a daughter of the King and hold such a special place in His heart. Jesus empowered, protected, honored, confided in, and celebrated women. He respected women and held them in high esteem, as He clearly demonstrated in His relationships with them.
I am married to an amazing woman whom I have witnessed grow, discover, map out, trail-blaze, and identify her leverage of self. She’s taken her worst and has blossomed into her own success story; while maintaining her life as my wife, leading lady of Mountaintop, a mother and grandmother. As a leader, I feel called to push women this month and to encourage not just mothers, but all women to take leaps of faith and win. Discover your path! It is time to make your own table, prepare your own feast, invite your own guests, and dine by your own design. You need to confess every day that YOU ARE ENOUGH. God created you for every moment that has been and for those yet to take place in your life. You were built to be multidimensional.
I bless you daughters; this is your year to live your Best Life.

Races

In 1 Corinthians 9, Paul speaks:“You’ve all been to the stadium and seen the athletes race. Everyone runs; one wins. Run to win. All good athletes train hard. They do it for a gold medal that tarnishes and fades. You’re after one that’s gold eternally. I don’t know about you, but I’m running hard for the finish line. I’m giving it everything I’ve got. No sloppy living for me! I’m staying alert and in top condition. I’m not going to get caught napping, telling everyone else all about it and then missing out myself” (vv. 24-27, MSG).

Paul emphasizes the importance of training and discipline, and his vivid description of running to win in life inspired me. I studied their preparation, their training techniques, their mental attitudes and the many diverse aspects of running, and I discovered the very principles foundation for running a marathon in the natural are equally applicable to running our spiritual race. We must train ourselves to be in this race to the end. It will not happen on its own especially when life brings extreme conditions against us.  I believe that this year many of us have been in a faith race, we’ve felt as if time, circumstances and heartaches incessantly became the hurdles in our race to finish 2018 strong. But I want to challenge you to keep your composure and finish your race, you need to know that you have already won.

As time has passed, I’ve seen many people who started this faith adventure with us drop out of their race. The absence of disciplined training in their lives meant they didn’t have the spiritual stamina to keep going when the going got tough. Many people have been defeated by disappointment, discouragement, distraction, disillusionment or disease, and because of this, they’ve dropped out of the race.  The following points will assist you in staying focus.

  1. You were created to run and winyour race.
  2. Do not focus on the resistance, focus on the finish.
  3. Your hope will sustain you in your journey, never lose your vision.
  4. Never compare yourself to anyoneelse’s race and how fast they finished.
  5. God is building your stamina.
  6. Before you give up count up theconsequences
  7. Quitting is never an option

The year is almost over and there are still promises that will happen for us.  This race was designed for you to get your faith in shape for what’s coming next  I want to encourage you that it is not over for you but your life is gaining momentum to end well. My prayer is that you do not focus on being the fastest runner but being the runner who finished with the victory.

I have observed something else under the sun. The fastest runner doesn’t always win the race, and the strongest warrior doesn’t always win the battle. The wise sometimes go hungry, and the skillful are not necessarily wealthy. And those who are educated don’t always lead successful lives. It is all decided by chance, by being in the right place at the right time.” Ecclesiastes 9:11 NLT

Fresh Wind

JANUARY 2018

HAPPY NEW YEAR…it is 2018, the Year that we are decreeing according to Acts 2:2 the power of the “Fresh Wind”.  I believe that this will be an exceptional year of the Lord’s favor in 3 dimensions: Spirit, Power, and Abundance.  We will arise like a mighty army with victory and the authority to conquer.  I know by a witness in my spirit that this will be a year of great manifestation of God’s hand. It is so important that we trump through every misconception of who we are in Christ Jesus, and realize that the past of the former years cannot be a deterrent of us moving forward and taking major faith steps towards our purpose.  Begin this year with a perpetual praise and being persistent about framing your world with Words of faith, stay consistent in prayer, reading the word of God, fasting and holding on to what God has promised us, will cause us to have a second wind to complete the course.  You must hold on to your Faith in 2018!

In Hebrews 11:6 Amp it reads:

“ But without faith, it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him.”

I love the word reward. A reward is a recompense for a worthy act. God loves to reward and benefit you for diligently seeking Him.

Learn to live the lifestyle of pursuing the things of God, putting him first in your life, and raising your expectation level.

The things you are thankful for are the things that God will multiply in your life; begin this year honoring God through gratefulness. Put Him first every day.

Words create your daily experiences. Words are containers of expectation. They are filled with possibilities. Possibilities come as you change the way you think. Words have a powerful effect on the atmosphere around you. Get excited about your words. Your Words will be bringing your breakthrough. Your Words are renewing your strength. Your Words are bringing your abundance and your Words are restoring your health.

Words are powerful tools that open and close doors. Every time you change the way you speak, you open a whole new world of opportunities. Words are powerful tools for changing your life. Your reward is closer than you think…This year 2018, we the Body of Christ will see the hand of the Lord move mighty in our lives, this will be an incredible year of favor, increase, strength, creativity and renewed passion to pursue our dreams.

13“Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord, “When the plowman shall overtake the one who gathers the harvest, and the one who treads the grapes [shall overtake] him who sows the seed [for the harvest continues until planting time]; When the mountains will drip sweet wine. And all the hills shall melt [that is, everything that was once barren will overflow with streams of blessing].
14 “Also I shall bring back the exiles of my people Israel, and they will rebuild the deserted and ruined cities and inhabit them: They will also plant vineyards and drink their wine, And make gardens and eat their fruit.15
“I will also plant them on their land, And they shall never again be uprooted from their land.  Which I have given them,” Says the Lord your God.  Amos 9:13-15

Merry Christmas from Our Hearts to Yours

While we’re opening our gifts, enjoying the company of our friends and family, celebrating the memories, as we gather around the dinner table to eat great food and the warmth of laughs, please let us take one moment to remember the true meaning of Christmas, “Jesus”.

Wishing you and yours a Blessed and Merry Christmas – Pastor Clinton & Dr. Mary L. House

23 “Behold, THE VIRGIN shall be with child and give birth to a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel” which, when translated, means, “God with us.” 24 Then Joseph awoke from his sleep and did as the angel of the Lord had commanded him, and he took Mary [to his home] as his wife, 25 but he kept her a virgin until she had given birth to a Son [her firstborn child]; and he named Him Jesus (The Lord is salvation).

Matthew 1:23-25 (AMP)

The Second Wind of God’s Encouragement

‘Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.’

(Heb 12:1b-2a)

Perseverance is a powerful expression of faith and crucial to breakthrough. We are called to a lifestyle of perseverance.

But God is not like an intimidating sports coach, waiting to rebuke you when you falter in the race of life. Jesus is at the finish line cheering you on and saying, ‘Keep going!’ ‘Keep going!’ His Spirit is within and upon you, available to provide everything you need.

The Second Wind of Recalling God’s Past Faithfulness

Following God’s instructions to Joshua, the Israelite army has marched once around the walled city of Jericho daily for 6 days. Now, on the 7th day, they are to march around the city 7 times. (Joshua 6)

Imagine being a soldier, and you have already marched 6 times around Jericho on that 7th day. Right now, you may be a little weary. And yet, there is still more marching ahead of you.

It doesn’t make any natural sense. Why the delay of time? Why the incomprehensible marching, using physical strength that you need to reserve for the battle ahead?  Sometimes, life is like that. It seems like you are circling the walls of impossibility; High and Impenetrable.

The Second Wind of Power to Pray

‘Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.’ (Luke 18:1)

Six times, Elijah has sent his servant to look for the first signs of God’s answer to his prayer for rain. But the sky remains a stubborn blue.

‘Lord, you have given the word. I know this is your plan. Here I am in Your Presence, and I’m not giving up until I have the answer.’

Elijah puts his head down to the ground again and prays. Now, he sends his servant for the 7th time.

“I see a cloud; the size of a man’s hand.”

And yet that is all Elijah needs to be certain that God’s answer has arrived. Now he must act quickly on God’s answer. (1 Kings 18:41- 45) You can not stop, keep praying, God’s answer is on the way; learn how to rejoice at small signs!

The Second Wind of God’s Grace for Forgiveness

Isaac has been forced to change locations, and the effort of moving his family, servants and flocks is enormous. (Gen 26) His servants have been hard at work re-opening wells that his father Abraham once used and discovering fresh sources of water.

However, locals contend that the water belongs to them. Remarkably, when a .   dispute over position and property comes up, Isaac is willing to release and move on. There are new wells ahead.   Have you been in a place of dispute? Release the offense and move on.

Don’t Settle for ‘Enough’ when ‘Encounter’ and ‘Enlargement’ are still Ahead.

The season of contention is over. Isaac is now free to settle in Rehoboth the place where he has freedom to live. (Gen 26:16-22) But his Divine appointment is still ahead of him.

Room enough, and yet there is still more. In order to receive the fullness of God’s blessing, Isaac has to forge ahead to God’s appointed place for him, and that is Beersheba.

Beersheba is significant, and not just because it has access to water. It is a place appointed for Divine encounter. Not only Isaac, but also in times to come Jacob, Hagar and Elijah will have significant encounters with God in Beersheba. And in centuries to come it will be known as the southernmost border of Israel.

Maybe you have worked hard and are finally positioned in a place where there is ‘room enough’, but God is saying, ‘I have more for you.’ Will you be satisfied with ‘enough’? Or will you press on to the place of encounter and enlargement?

Prophetic Word of Encouragement:

Today, I believe our God is saying, “Don’t settle for less than the fullness of what He has for you. It has cost you to get where you are today. But He has still more for you up ahead. Receive the second wind of His Spirit and keep going, for Your best season is yet to come and approaching soon.”
